A wildlife fine art photographer - Klaus Tiedge
Klaus Tiedge "Cheetah Archives" photo inspired me because it makes me feel like I’m inside it right beside the cheetahs. They also have a survival rate of 3 out of 6 because in the wild it is really hard for them to survive. This also shows me how special life is and how important it is to live your life to the fullest.
In the photo, you can see 5 cheetah cubs with their mother. This photo also makes me think about why the cheetahs are like us humans. The mother is always taking care of the baby cubs and making them her priority. I also really like animals, some of my favourite animals are lions, cheetahs, elephants, and leopards. The one thing that inspired me the most is the wildlife photographer himself who took the photo. His life story and his style inspired me a lot. I like how every one of his photos are vivid, vibrant, and most importantly each of them tells a story.
Klaus Tiedge's life story really inspired me because he was just a photo assistant when he first started and had a dream to work for himself. When he started to work for himself, he learned that having your own goals brings you a certain independence that he loves. He also forced himself to keep changing directions to challenge himself, which is what I want to do. I also want to challenge myself so I can learn different things.
“ "I have always been motivated by curiostiy and the desire to travel the world. This same curiousity led me to Africa. Whether it be to represent its people, animals, or landscapes, I find that it is good for my soul. It's so diverse, authentic, and satisfying." ”
— Klaus Tiedge
So that’s what I discovered
In April 2017, Klaus Tiedge was diagnosed with cancer. He was angry, sad, and afraid but he didn’t let that stop him, he made a new goal which was to take his family to Kenya. He wanted to show his family where his career as a wildlife photographer began. But this trip was different, it made him feel more alive and being a part of it. He also had a quote that really hits me in the spot. “Cancer didn’t bring me to my knees, it brought me to my feet”. Since he inspired me so much, I also took a trip to South Africa this year in March to personally experience the wildlife safari. He’s also my role model.

"Overlooking View"
- Photoed by Jason (Safari, South Africa)
Common eland, they live in east and southern Africa in environmnets of grasslands, savannas and open woodlots. Elands avoid dense forests. They are social naimals which form group of 25 to a hundred animals. The common eland is a herbivore. During dry periods it canget along without water so long as food is available.
I took this photo because i like the amount of vibrant contrast that the view was showing, the two Common Elands looking directly at each other's eye made them seem like they were communicating to each other.
